We were delighted to be back in the rehearsal room with our friends of the Swiss Early Music ensemble Les Passions de l'Ame for our joined Telemann project. The programme included his well-known Donner-Ode featuring festive trumpets and timpani symbolising the thunder, and two Cantatas: Wie lieblich sind auf den Bergen TVWV 3:61b (Steinbeck 1754) and Veni sancte spiritus TVWV 3:82 (Hamburg 1739).
We regret to share the news that our planned Telemann concerts with Les Passions de l'Ame on Friday 13 March at the Heiliggeistkirche in Bern and on Sunday 15 March at the Telemann Festival in the composer's birthplace, Magdeburg, will NOT take place.
